This impression in conveyed by five elements: vertical lighting, a fix lens, its frontal and horizontal set-up, the use of a painted canvas and a scenography of the tableau vivant.
Although this blog would like to offer a possible answer to that puzzling fact through images, but the black box remains a black box; mystery prevails.
